Policy for pamphlets, petitions and fund raisers I. Pamphlets and notices A. Only pamphlets or notices pertaining to the library shall be displayed on circulation desk. B. Pamphlets and notices not related to the library can be accepted and displayed in the pamphlet display rack. C. At the discretion of the librarian, notices of local interest may be displayed on the bulletin board. II. Petitions and political notices A. Since the Colo Public Library is a part of the city government, they shall not accept any petitions of any type or nature. B. The Colo Public Library shall not accept any political or campaign notices, i.e., school board, school bond, city government, county, state or national campaigns. III. Fund Raisers A. No fund raising drives will be allowed, unless they are Library sponsored. B. The Colo Public Library will not solicit for any other organizations. Revised May 28, 2013 Policy Regarding Gift Certificates Given Free By the Colo Public Library A maximum of $10.00 in Gift Certificates will be given free by the Colo Public Library to any given organization per fiscal year.
